Happy Halloween!
Halloween is almost here and we have been busy having some halloween fun!
We made some yummy Halloween candy apples and learned about the effects of heating and cooling solids in the process.
We did some super maths work with our pumpkin by measuring the circumference using a piece of yarn, discovering how many seeds are in our pumpkin and its weight. We made some clever estimations and then compared them to the actual results.
We made some eerie Halloween sensory jars and learned about liquid density, floating and observed some chemical reactions in the process.
We also created some oozing slippery slime which taught us about polymers.
